AKAUSHI WAGYU
Akaushi Cattle are know for their exquisite marbling and heart healthy benefits. Unlike standard beef, Akaushi Cattle have high levels of healthy Omega 3 fats like the ones found in olive oil giving their meat a rich buttery flavor. At Martens Family Farm we raise our cattle from birth with no hormones on corn and grass from our pasture. With results from genetic testing we only breed the animals who will yeild the most premium cuts of beef.
BEEF QUARTERS
We have beef 1/4's available for purchase. This generally yeilds around 50 lbs of ground beef and around 60 lbs of meat in steaks, brisket, roasts, stew meat, ribs, liver, soup bones, etc.   Buyer pays for processing and will pick up their meat at a local meat market.
Looking for premium ground beef, speciality steaks or a roast for a special occasion? Contact us and we will do our best to facilitate your needs based on our inventory. We are not currently shipping but may be able to make special arrangements.
RAISE YOUR OWN AKAUSHI
Our animals are all certified and bred from Heartland Genetics and are registered with the American Akaushi Association. We currently have F1 & F2 cattle available for purchase.
ABOUT US
Kurt & Tony Martens are the father son team behind Martens American Wagyu. In 2019 they decided to change their focus from raising beef cattle to starting their own specialty Akaushi herd. Kurt farms full time and Tony also works as the grain accounting manager for a local farming co-op. They are both active members of the local farming community.
